The first member of Team Unicorn’s Generation 180 category and the Welsh teenage darting star who has already proved her class and rewritten the darting history books by the age of 15!
Kimberley Lewis has won the World Youth Masters in both 2006 and 2007 - making her only the second girl to achieve this notable feat……in fact, when she defended her crown at Bridlington, she lost only two legs in her five-match winning run to the title!
And Kimberley has set her sights on being crowned World Champion by the time she is 18... three years to go and the way she has made rapid progress, you wouldn’t put it past her to achieve that dream!
She is now aiming for a record-busting hat-trick of titles in Bridlington and in 2007 she incredibly topped the women’s Super League averages in Glamorgan - winning all 13 matches. It is quite a success story and Unicorn was quick to recognise the raw talent.
Kimberley is now playing many senior events and she displayed maturity beyond her years to reach the quarter-finals of the Welsh Open. She won five matches on her way to the last eight, losing in the end to Francis Honselaar.
She already has a glittering array of achievements under he belt, including - the Europe Cup Girls title in 2006. She won her first Super League match at the age of 11 and made her debut for Glamorgan just a year later and she was also the first Welsh girl to be selected for the World Cup in Australia.
Nicknamed ‘The Golden Child’, she is certainly letting the tungsten do the talking!
Kimberley lives in Newport, South Wales and she is a talented all-round sportswoman - enjoying football, badminton and tennis.
Her party piece is a 80 check-out, with double top, double top and she drives her family mad with her desire to practice! Well, all the hard work has already paid off handsomely for the double World Master!
And there are not many teenagers in the world who can claim to have their own signature darts made by the biggest darts company in the world!
Kimberley Lewis is the young girl with great darting ability.
