Joe Cullen and Arron Monk have won through to the first ever European Tour event in Austria later this month.
The Team Unicorn youngsters came through the qualifiers in Barnsley on Friday, ahead of this weekend’s UK Open qualifying events in South Yorkshire.
There were 20 players who made it through to the prestigious new tournament, as the PDC Pro Tour gets a new look in Europe this year.
There are five big events, each featuring 64 players, and each with prize money of £81,000, with £15,000 to the winner.
The first Euro tournament takes place in Austria in two weeks.
Cullen beat Sam Hill 6-3 and John Bowles 6-4 to get through, and he will face Irishman Brendan Dolan in the 1st Round.
Monk was a 6-0 winner against Paul Barham and then beat Danie Day 6-3….he has earned a terrific all Unicorn clash against Raymond van Barneveld in the opening round in Austria.
World No.1 Phil Taylor will play qualifier Gaz Cousins, while the rest of the draw, as it affects Team Unicorn, looks like this….
James Wade plays another qualifier in Prakash Jawa, Gary Anderson faces Scott Rand, while Andy Hamilton faces Roland Scholten and Kevin Painter takes on Johnny Haines.
Paul Nicholson has been handed a tough draw against Dean Winstanley, Colin Osborne plays Richie Howson and Jamie Caven has been drawn against talented youngster Michael Smith.
For Wes Newton, it’s a clash against Boris Krcmar and Terry Jenkins will take on Dietmar Burger, while Unicorn German ace Michael Rosenauer plays Richie Burnett.
