The stars of the McCoy's Premier League Darts have teamed up with Chas Hodges & his band to record a charity single to be released in May called "Got My Tickets For The Darts".
The legendary singer – best-known for his collaborations as “Chas & Dave” - has written the catchy song to celebrate the recent success of darts at the top level, having been captivated by his visits to major televised PDC tournaments.
Chas and his band linked up with Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis, James Wade, Gary Anderson, Raymond van Barneveld, Simon Whitlock, Andy Hamilton and Kevin Painter, as well as walk-on girl Jacqui Adams, to record the video for the single.
The song will be released exclusively on iTunes on Friday May 18 after being premiered at the McCoy's Premier League Darts Play-Offs at The O2 in London the previous night.
Proceeds from the single will be donated to the Haven House Children's Hospice.
Phil Taylor, the 15-time World Champion, said: "It's been great fun recording with Chas and the band, and hopefully the record will raise lots of money for Haven House.
"It's a brilliant tune, really catchy, and I'm sure when people hear the song they'll be singing along like we've all been!"
Haven House Children's Hospice cares for youngsters aged 19 and under in north and east London and Essex who have life-limiting illnesses, as well as providing support for their families.
