Take a bow Joe Cullen!
The Unicorn ace claimed his second triumph on the PDC Unicorn Youth tour – winning the 10th tournament of the series in Holland.
Cullen won six games, culminating in a 4-2 victory over young Dutchman Gino Vos in the final at Nuland.
“It is a great win for me,” he said. “It is also a big confidence boost and it is important that I take this form into the Pro Tour events now.”
The Yorkshireman saw off Jimmy van Schie (3-0), Jamie Landon (3-2), Wouter Vaes (3-2) and Ryan de Vreede 3-0, before seeing off the in-form teenager from Hull, Reece Robinson 4-2 in the semi-finals.
This latest win of course, keeps Cullen in with a great chance of winning the Youth Tour Order of Merit later in the year, which would clinch places at the Grand Slam of Darts and World Championship.
Cullen followed up his victory in Austria last month with an impressive display.
In the final, he broke the Vos throw twice in the opening three legs, then an 87 finish took him out to 3-1, before a terrific 13 dart leg sealed the win.
The tournament takes a break over the summer….the race resumes with the 11th PDC Unicorn Youth event in Derby on September 3.
