Big Blow for Brown

Team Unicorn youngster Keegan Brown is out of this weekend’s German Darts Championship.

The 19-year-old has been forced out of the prestigious European Tour event by illness.

Brown had won through the qualifiers to claim his prized spot at the tournament, which starts in Berlin on Friday.

But unfortunately, the Isle of Wight teenager has fallen ill this week and has been advised by his doctor not to make the trip to Germany.

It is a real blow for Brown who has been in the form of his life over the last few weeks…..on top of qualifying for Berlin, he has enjoyed success on the PDC Unicorn Youth Tour and reached the semi-finals of a Players Championship tournament for the first time in his young career.

It means that his 1st Round opponent – Unicorn stablemate Kevin Painter – now receives a bye into the 2nd Round in Berlin.

All at Unicorn wish Keegan a speedy recovery.

And remember, you will be able to follow all the action from the German Darts Championship over the weekend right here on the Unicorn website.
